Spend about nine hours traveling from Bariloche through Nahuel Huapi National Park to Cerro Tronador and the Black Glacier. Expect Spanish, Portuguese, or English guiding, hotel pickup to Av. Bustillo Km 8, mountain views, short walks, bumpy roads, and a separate ARS 20,000 park fee.
“This was a great day trip out of Bariloche. The pickup was easy at my hotel. The van was comfortable which was great on a long bumpy gravel road to the mountain. The guide was very informative with 20 years of experience as a guide. The food at the lunch stop was very good. I enjoyed the milanasa. The views of Cerro Tronador were amazing and the black glacier was area was fascinating. Returning back to town the tour made quick pace to drop everybody off around 6:15 PM. The audio in the van away a little inconsistent. Volume dropped off over time. Otherwise a great trip.”
